How we can win the War on Terror.

I listen to a lot of talk shows, but I still maintain my own opinions.  I was in the military myself and I am all for the troops.  Now I do see a big difference between the first war: Desert Storm, which I went to and today’s war.  I consider myself a conservative, but not an extremist.  Our president is doing Ok, but every once in a while he is pressed by some liberal senators or generals, into making some wrong decissions about how we can win this war.

I do not like to ramble on about politics, but I do not want to see this war made into another Vietnam. If we want to win it fast, we need to do two things.

1)Show them that we are a tough country! Stop punishing out troops for making small mistakes. If our Marines got mad, and maybe killed one Iraqui. Do not inform the media !  This should be settled locally within our own units. If the guys did wrong then slap them, but give them some credit for still being strong American troops who are out there fighting for our country in a war against a very vicious enemy.

2) America needs to show them that we are tough!, If not the enemy will take advantage of out liberal politics, call us sissy’s and then they will never stop.

Instead we should step up our Air Raids, use larger bombs and show the enemy who is the boss. Also If we pull out too fast, this will send the wrong signal to the enemy. But we should find a way to silently pull out some troops and repace them with more remote control bomber planes!

But for Heavens sake, stop letting the liberal Generals and Politician’s in Virginia, run a war from across the sea! That only makes us look weak! In the first Gulf War, 30 days of sustained air raids sent a much better signal to those kuku militants! Why can’t we do that again!

If you like this stuff: try listening to Sean Hannity or Mike Sabage shows!

Those guys are my favorites!

I have been looking for some new ways to sell my own ideas. I have 2 ebooks that I wrote earlier this year and I have been trying to sell them on ebay. I have sold a few of them, but since ebay is so competative, I have to sell them for a low price and then when you subtract the ebay and pay pal fees I am left with nothing.  I am the type of person who likes to do things by myself. So instead of hiring a programmer, I found a way to create my own ebook store.

First I found some templates on ebay, and then I modified the code to include my own adsense and paypal codes. Next I added some descriptions for my own ebooks and finally, I added them all to a new domain called ibook city.

http://www.ibookcity.com

If you see the site, you will love it. I plan to keep adding more ebooks to the list until I have an ebook mega store..  I want people to buy and read the ebooks so as I gain more books, I will start ging away 3 or 4 free with each purchace.

I recently posted this same information on a yahoo newsgroup.

I hope I am right about this market, because I am also the owner of a new home down there. I could sell it right now for a small flip, or I can wait for the chickens to run and then hope for the best after the completion of the new hospital this fall.

So here is that article. I would like some opionions on this whole market. Real Estate in General!  So please post comments. That is what blogging is all about!

If you are looking to buy an investment home in Miami, land is running out. They just voted again, not to extend the urban development line. So new homes supply is running low. But even so over 1000 people keep moving down here each month. So the good news is that new home prices are still rising. The rise is slower now, due to higher interest rates, but it is still happening. If you are looking to buy a Miami Beach condo, there is still opportunity to find some deals, and you will make money. Now if you are looking for a new single family home, you will not find too many, under 500 K, that is unless you look in Homestead. Homestead, Florida, had some trouble about 12 years ago after Hurricane Andrew, but now it is one of the fastest growing cities, it is close to South Miami, and at the same time, it is only 15 minutes away from the Florida Keys. The new Hospital is almost finished and several developers are already working on plans to build a new water theme park. And now the good news: you can still find new homes starting at about $350 K.
