In today’s post, I would like for all of my readers to know,
that you do not have to be a computer genius to setup and run
your own website of blog. Also note that the cost has gone down
in price over the last couple of years and for an example my to
have this website, is less than $50 per year.

I also have 3 other websites and they only cost me $6 more per year
and I think I could have up to 100 of them, before, my hosting company
would require me to pay any additional hosting fees. Also note that if
you invoke something like Google Adsense ads on your sites, you can
make the cost of having a website go away. In my case, I actually make
a small profit. I also am hoping that as time goes by, I will eventually
make more profits than I do now. Currently my profit is about $75 every
6 months. So that means that I every 6 months I have to pay $30 for
hosting and domain fees, but Adsense pays me back about $105. Now I know
that there are some people who earn much more from Adsense, and I also
know many people who claim they make a lot more. But this blog is not a
sales blog and I am not trying to sell you any books or e-books telling
you how to make a fortune with Adsense.

What I do want to offer you is some technical assistance and I will even
do it for free if you just want to have a simple blog, or website and you
just do not have any money to invest. I am a computer professional by career,
so I can tell you that it only takes me about 1 hour to setup a website or
a blog.

The only thing that you will need to do is pay for the first 6 months of
hosting and then you can have your own blog or website up and running in
about 4 hours time. The 4 hours is the average time it takes for your
websites name to register on the internet. I also can show you how to add
your site to some of the major search engines, and how you can update it
yourself, once it is out their in the World Wide Web.

All you have to do is send me an email or post a comment on this blog,
and I will be more that glad to help you get started today.

Until the next time…. same time, same channel.

Cheers from,

David at Blogsomebody !!!

Online Jobs Scams?

Date: Friday February 9, 2007

I am still wondering? Are all online job services Scams? You can search the web and you will find so many sites that offer online jobs, to let you work from home, but they are usually scams. All they ever want is for you to send them money in exchange for information. Well guess what you can get the same information for free in blogs just like this one.

If you are unemployed your best bet is to look for a job, or post your own adds for any service business. You can offer to do taxes, mow laws, clean homes, repair appliances, Do home improvements and more. You just need to post them locally and include you phone #. If you do this you will get some calls and you are in charge, you can make some quick and honest cash and fast.

Meanwhile while you look for jobs the old fashioned way. If you get lucky in a few more years most larger companies will begin to allow you to tellecommute. Right now this is still rare, because most senior managers went to school a few years before most colleges and schools began to teach us about the advantages of tellecommuting.

Believe me I work for a very large company and unless you are a very valued and trusted employee they do not allow it. But I have a strong feeling this will all change as soon as they begin to get older and retire.

If you are a middle manager on your way up to the top you really need to fight for tellecommuting. There are a few big companies that do use it. I think even Best Buy is one of them and they are doing very well.

Please feel free to comment on this. I want to know if you know of or work for any large companys that let you work from home. Well as long as you get the work done!

My new ebook store.

I have been looking for some new ways to sell my own ideas. I have 2 ebooks that I wrote earlier this year and I have been trying to sell them on ebay. I have sold a few of them, but since ebay is so competative, I have to sell them for a low price and then when you subtract the ebay and pay pal fees I am left with nothing.  I am the type of person who likes to do things by myself. So instead of hiring a programmer, I found a way to create my own ebook store.

First I found some templates on ebay, and then I modified the code to include my own adsense and paypal codes. Next I added some descriptions for my own ebooks and finally, I added them all to a new domain called ibook city.

http://www.ibookcity.com

If you see the site, you will love it. I plan to keep adding more ebooks to the list until I have an ebook mega store..  I want people to buy and read the ebooks so as I gain more books, I will start ging away 3 or 4 free with each purchace.
