I listen to a lot of talk shows, but I still maintain my own opinions.  I was in the military myself and I am all for the troops.  Now I do see a big difference between the first war: Desert Storm, which I went to and today’s war.  I consider myself a conservative, but not an extremist.  Our president is doing Ok, but every once in a while he is pressed by some liberal senators or generals, into making some wrong decissions about how we can win this war.

I do not like to ramble on about politics, but I do not want to see this war made into another Vietnam. If we want to win it fast, we need to do two things.

1)Show them that we are a tough country! Stop punishing out troops for making small mistakes. If our Marines got mad, and maybe killed one Iraqui. Do not inform the media !  This should be settled locally within our own units. If the guys did wrong then slap them, but give them some credit for still being strong American troops who are out there fighting for our country in a war against a very vicious enemy.

2) America needs to show them that we are tough!, If not the enemy will take advantage of out liberal politics, call us sissy’s and then they will never stop. 

Instead we should step up our Air Raids, use larger bombs and show the enemy who is the boss. Also If we pull out too fast, this will send the wrong signal to the enemy. But we should find a way to silently pull out some troops and repace them with more remote control bomber planes! 

But for Heavens sake, stop letting the liberal Generals and Politician’s in Virginia, run a war from across the sea! That only makes us look weak! In the first Gulf War, 30 days of sustained air raids sent a much better signal to those kuku militants! Why can’t we do that again!
